Small Batch is a family run artisan food company based in Mount Maunganui. We started Small Batch in 2012 but the business began many years before that when Nick met Elaine in Dublin and talked her into moving to the other side of the world.
We have both always been passionate about food. Nick has been a chef for over 17 years travelling the globe for a large chunk of this working in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Dublin & Vancouver to name a few and Elaine is very good at eating ! Many late nights were spent planning the business and trying new products before we finally made the big leap. We started slowly working in evenings and weekends at famers markets and over the past 3 years Small Batch has grown into a full time business.
We love what we do and we hope you do too. We work in a kitchen not a factory. We run our business much like a good restaurant, quality ingredients, innovative techniques and attention to detail.
Right now we make a range of Aioli, Peanut Butter and Nut Butters but watch this space because we still stay up late trying different products to add to our range !
